You’d be surprised how often our brains function on auto- pilot. Even more- you’d be surprised how often we as humans are not aware of the ways we are functioning.

Walk this out with me:
What did your day look like? Maybe something like this . In no particular order
You woke up,
Showered
Or not..
Ate breakfast.. or not
Brushed your teeth.. or not
Did something to fill the next 12 hours.
You breathed,
Fed yourself… or not.
There has been a choice in every part of your day.
When we lose sight that we are constantly choosing what our lives consist of, we begin to suffer.
You choose what thoughts you believe that pass through your mind.
You choose what Feelings you grab onto. Sometimes we say , make good choices. why?
Choices are either helpful or harmful and impact us and those around us.
Even more, sometimes our choices are influenced by our current mood or feelings. When we can become aware of this, we can begin to make healthier, mindful choices.
You choose what show you watch.
You choose weather or not you are going to let your past define you
You choose who you surround yourself with
You choose who you allow to speak into your life, and if you take stock in what they say to you.
These things are important. Life is about our choices. You can choose to see that as empowering or debilitating. It’s really cool.
You can always choose different, or the same.
The choice yours.
Sometimes things happen to us that isn’t our choice but we can always choose how we relate to our circumstances.
