The title of my blog and my website both have peace in the center of it. I strive personally , to continue to move toward peace in my life, and work with clients as they do the same.
What does Peace mean?
Webster dictionary says this :freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions.
I love this definition. Why? Because we as humans, have been given the ability to take action with our thoughts and emotions.
We are not victim to our thoughts and emotions. They are a part of us. We can be friendly to them. And we can believe differently when they lie to us.
For me, finding peace has meant realizing that, no matter what I am feeling, or what my circumstances tell me, I still have the ability to control my response to these things. We can, when we become aware and mindful, choose a different path. A path that pours life into our situation. A path that releases us from the prison we may find ourselves in. I love this quote.

Many of us live life this way. We can get off the hamster wheel. It all begins with a choice to get off, practice living in peace, and having grace for the moments we slip up.
I have much to learn about this topic. But I am grateful because that is what life , for me , is about. I get to continue to learn and grow. I get to choose peace daily. So can you.
What does peace look like for you?
Be encouraged,
